O presente trabalho tem por objetivo mostrar a viabilidade e eficiência do emprego do Processo dos Deslocamentos, através da utilização da Técnica das Subestruturas, na obtenção de esforços e deslocamentos em estruturas lineares. Para essa análise, foram consideradas as estruturas constituídas de diversos tipos de subestruturas, prevendo-se qualquer tipo de interconexão entre elas, não havendo restrições quanto ao ângulo por elas formado, nem quanto ao seu tipo estrutural. Para tanto, foi montado um programa para o computador IBM-370/148 em linguagem FORTRAN, que automatiza esses cálculos. Diversos exemplos são resolvidos e a precisão da técnica é analisada através de resultados comparativos.

The aim of this work is to show the viability and efficiency of using the stiffness Method employing the Technique of Substructures, for obtaining the stress and strain in linear structures. For this analysis, structures composed of several kinds of substructures were considered. All kinds of interconnections among the substructures were foreseen, and no restriction with respect to the angle formed between them or to their structural types has been imposed. A computer program was developed for an IBM-370/148 using the FORTRAN language, to automatize these calculations. Several examples are solved and the technical precision is analysed by means of comparative results.
